Maria Semyonova, Russian (active 1896-1908). Gilded silver and cloisonne enameled egg, two halves comprising an ovoid form. Enameled with panels of stylized foliage on gilt stippled ground with turquoise pellet borders. Egg opens to reveal coordinating pedestal bases that screw into the bottom of each to form 2 egg cups. Hallmarked inside with initials 'MC'. Measures 2.5" when together; 2 3/8"H x 1 7/8"W. Condition: good condition, please see all photos. Contact AAG for additional information.
